This L. & N. Anthony - Pattern Wheatstone Bridge serves as the external calibration decade and bridge for the V.T.S. Laboratory. This gives me the ability to confirm actual performance measurements of any decade in the lab with "Rock of Gibraltar" short & long term stability. (As compared to my imitators who stick the tube in whatever tester they have on hand and hope for the best.) Why are things so different at V.T.S.? Because V.T.S. was never started as a "get rich quick" scheme or "Let's jump on the bandwagon".

Laboratory grade tube rigs have separate plug in modules for the lowest possible capacitance (as compared to the high capacitance of the many paralleled sockets in a typical service tester). Here the 4 pin module holds a Sylvania Globe 45 tube. V.T.S. rejects many inferior tubes that would be passed on and sold as good by others.

V.T.S. Main Tech Library

Here is a view of the V.T.S. Main Tech Library. I have studied every page (most several times). It includes hard bound copy's of several rare technical books such as the R.C.A. Tube Design Book & several rare
editions from Edison, Eisler Eng. and Tung-Sol. There is also a full wall of files (not shown) & smaller Tech. library by the sales desk that has second set's of reference manuals, some of the
periodicals, equiptment files & substitution guides for quick reference during customer calls.
